The Lely Luna can rotate in each direction and as soon as a cow pushes against the brush, it will start to rotate in the opposite direction. The brush as a minimum of moving parts and brush hairs remain intact for longed, due to rotating in either direction. This means the brush requires little upkeep and a long lifespan.

Cow safety is maintained through the overload protection feature. When the cow pushes too hard against the brush, it will stop moving to ensure it does not cause any pain or irritate the skin. The Lely Luna can be installed easily in different ways such as standalone or installed as affixed to a wall.
