Join a passionate and talented team of dairy experts,
supporting local farmers to take up new technologies.
The dairy industry is changing, with more and more farms adopting robotics and automated technologies to run their operations.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated first year apprentice to join our team in this exciting time for the industry, as we service a growing number of local dairy farms.
You will help us plan, install, maintain, test, diagnose faults and make recommendations for milk harvesting systems, feeding systems and other dairy equipment. You will learn how to carry out electrical and mechanical work required for the commissioning of systems, and how the design and operation of dairy systems impacts cow behaviour, health and wellbeing.
The role will combine practical experience at work with formal study through a registered training organisation. We will select an apprenticeship that is suited to you and the work required, and you will gain a nationally recognised qualification at the conclusion of your studies.
If you love dairy and want a job outside the milking shed that provides you with broad-ranging skills and a formal qualification, this position might be perfect for you.
