Lely Center Gippsland sells, installs and supports Lely’s world leading robotic equipment on Gippsland dairy farms. We are seeking an FMS Advisor to join our team and help service our growing customer base.
FMS Advisors are responsible for supporting our dairy farming customers in their transition to automatic milking and feeding. They specialise in Lely’s robot software ‘Horizon’ and best-practice automatic milking and feeding routines, and provide training and guidance to the farmer and farm employees in setting up and using the system before, during and after start-up.
This includes providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting as needed, as well as proactive training on the system and new features as they are released.
FMS Advisors monitor the performance of customer farms via system dashboards and regular contact with farmers, and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate. This requires building long-term relationships and trust with our customers.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate, however a good working knowledge of dairy farming is ideal as you will be responsible for providing systems advice that supports the daily running of the farm and the long-term goals of the farm manager.
This role will work closely with our existing FMS Advisor as well as our Sales Manager, Installation Manager, Service Technicians, Customer Liaison and Center Management.
It will involve regular travel to customer farms within Gippsland, so you must hold a valid drivers licence to apply.
